BACKED BY BADGE: Sheffler EARNS KPPA Endorsement

SHEFFLER: Law Enforcement & Courthouse have unique relationship, I'm honored to earn their trust.
KENOSHA, Wis. | Brian Sheffler, candidate for Kenosha County Clerk of Circuit Court, today announced that the Kenosha Professional Police Association Board of Directors has voted unanimously to endorse his candidacy in the November general election. The Board represents the rank and file of Wisconsin's 3rd largest municipal police force. It also represents the first time in nearly two decades that the Board has made a choice in the Clerk of Circuit Court race.
"Everyone on the board was impressed with the passion you have for this position," the Kenosha Professional Police Association Board of Directors wrote in notifying Sheffler of the vote.
"Law enforcement and the courthouse have a unique relationship," said Sheffler. "Every warrant, every protective order, and every case record depends on the Clerk's office and our officers working together accurately and on time. The men and women of the Kenosha Police Department see that work up close every day, and I'm honored to earn their trust. As Clerk, I'll make sure that partnership stays strong, because it's how we keep our courts working for everyone in Kenosha County."
Sheffler has served as Kenosha County Register in Probate and Juvenile Clerk since 2018, when he was unanimously appointed by all eight Kenosha County circuit court judges. He began his career at the Kenosha County Courthouse in 1998 as a high school intern and later served as Municipal Court Clerk for the Village of Pleasant Prairie.
The general election will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
